Chernivtsi: the Removal of wages from the "shadows" – one of the key questions of our present.
On an ongoing basis by staff of the Department of labour and social protection of population of the city Council, Chernivtsi LIGHTS PG DFS in Chernivtsi region, the state Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region, management Rostruda in Chernivtsi region conducted outreach with employers and the insured persons about the negative consequences of unregistered employment relationship, payment of wages in "envelopes", its influence on the size of pension at retirement. July 25 under the chairmanship of the Deputy of the mayor concerning activity of Executive bodies of city Council In Seredyuk.. the regular meeting of the city working group on legalization of wages and employment.Chernivtsi, which reviewed the status of wage levels at 6 enterprises of the city, where, according to reported average monthly wages of hired employees accrued in the amounts below the statutory minimum wage. During the first half of 2016, the specialists of the Department of labor and social protection of population of the city Council held 39 inspections on the compliance of enterprises, institutions and organizations of various forms of ownership of existing legislation in the field of labor relations. The results of the checks submitted 187 proposals and recommendations on questions of collective-contractual regulation of labor relations, elimination of the revealed violations and shortcomings. As 01.07.2016 enterprises of the city further assessed employees 104.6 thousand UAH. in particular, the indexation of unpaid wages, compensation for unused vacation at dismissal, holiday pay, severance, and the like.
