In the Vinnytsia region, the government approved the mechanism of compensation of expenses on registration and identification of animals to owners
, the Government approved the Order of use of funds envisaged in the state budget for compensation of expenses on payment of services for animal identification and registration of physical persons – owners of these animals. The implementation of such a mechanism in turn can significantly affect the quality of agricultural products of animal origin. This was stated by the Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine Taras Kutovoy. "The refund mechanism for the identification of animals, to encourage natural persons to carry out the procedure of setting the animals from private farms for registration. This, in turn, will create preconditions for the protection of consumers from buying low-quality agricultural products of animal origin", - said Taras Kutovoy. He added that responsible pet owners to their identification and certification is a required element of competitiveness of Ukrainian products on foreign markets. "The approved Procedure, in particular aimed at ensuring the competitiveness of our livestock products in the European and world markets", - said the head of the Ministry of agriculture. Reference The document was developed in pursuance of the Law of Ukraine "On identification and registration of animals". Now services for the identification and registration of animals shall be paid by legal and physical persons – owners of these animals. The natural person – the owner of the animals, which has carried out the costs of services for the identification and registration, is entitled to reimbursement by the state for such costs. According to the Order, the main Manager of budgetary funds and responsible budget program is the Ministry, which is responsible for budget management within established budget authority.
