The economic development Department of the regional state administration informs about the Competition "Safe community - a shared interest, a shared responsibility" of the International Fund "Revival". The contest aims to support the establishment of sustainable linkages at the level of territorial communities, contribute to the implementation of the accountability of the police, the establishment and maintenance of law and order, for preventing crime, developing a safe environment in the community. The priorities and objectives of the competition: • the involvement of local communities to the rule of law and security; • support the formation and activities of local police commissions; • formation practices identify local problems in the sphere of security through the involvement of active members of the local territorial communities; • develop and promote programmes to ensure security and the rule of law at the level of local communities; • create, in collaboration with local government structures (platforms/platforms), in collaboration with the police and other stakeholders carry out active educational activity aimed at the prevention of crime, strengthening the rule of law and local security; • development of a practice of accountability to local communities activities of the police on the ground. To participate in the contest: non-profit organizations, particularly charities, social enterprises (including community organizations and unions) that: • have the status of non-profit or charitable organization officially registered in Ukraine; •have experience of active work in the sphere of protection of human rights, montorso work of the state and/or municipal bodies, the development of the capacity of the community (or such experience are key partners submitted a project proposal); • have the ability to implement grant projects and reporting (including financial reporting). Proposals from organizations that do not meet the above formal requirements will not be considered. The competition does not provide grants profit organizations, political parties, bodies of state power, bodies of local self-government, religious communities, and the private (physical) persons and physical persons-entrepreneurs. The maximum grant size is 370 000 UAH. The maximum project implementation period is 12 months. The presence of the contribution of the implementing organization or from other sources will be counted and will be an advantage for aplot. Project proposals should be submitted in the Ukrainian language in accordance with the requirements of the announcement and application forms. For application forms, you must add several required documents, namely: • a copy of the registration certificate of the organization; • summary of all persons involved in the execution of the project, with the experience that corresponds to the field project activities; • a confirmation letter from the local authorities and regional offices of the national police regarding their participation in the project (which will specify, in particular, their planned contribution to the project).
