The man was detained by Ukrainian police in 2005 on suspicion of committing on the territory of Kirovohrad oblast serious crimes, including murder. The latest verdict of the court sentenced to imprisonment for 15 years and placed in Politico corrective colony (No. 76) in Rivne region. At the request of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Moldova General Prosecutor's office of Ukraine took decision to extradite) the perpetrator of criminal responsibility for crimes committed in the territory of the country. Therefore, in June 2016 as soon as the term of imprisonment, the convict was released from prison and again detained by militiamen. The Prosecutor's office of the Rovno region initiated the application for extradition arrest by the court.
