Over last week (from 15.08 21.08) division of the State service of Ukraine on emergency situations carried out visits to conduct activities to prevent emergency situations, rapid response to events and elimination of their consequences, extinguishing fires and carrying out other rescue activities. Since the beginning of the week was 2 thousand 468 extraordinary events that secured response units SSES with departure to the place of their occurrence. In the result of actions taken rescued 60 people. Eliminated 2 175 thousand fires, on fires rescued 42 people and prevented the destruction by fire 374 buildings and 34 units of equipment. Fires killed 14 people, the estimated damages, according to operational data, are 4 million 774 thousand UAH. During the week, pyrotechnic units DSNs made 220 trips, in which are found, seized and destroyed 4 359 thousand explosive subjects of times of past wars.
