During the official meeting, the foreign guests discussed with the citizens the prospects of expanding cooperation between the regions. "This year marks the 10th anniversary since the signing of the Agreement between the Vinnytsia region and Asticou County Council. We see great potential for deepening our cooperation in both economic and cultural relations, - noted the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cow. We look forward to expanding our markets for agricultural products, given the prospects that are opened in the project "Transglobal". We are also very interested in the market of Romania as to the possibility of access to the markets of the European Union and possible collaboration in the field of air transport between winery and Iasi". Describing the state of socio-economic development of the Vinnytsia region, the head of the regional state administration noted the positive dynamics of the region in the field of processing industry and powerful development of agrarian business. Therefore stressed that Vinnytsia oblast is interested in opening in the region of representation of the Romanian company "Anotha", Podolyan, the delegation had the opportunity during the recent visit to Iasi in March of this year. The desire to deepen existing ties and establish new contacts was expressed by the newly appointed President of Iasi County Council Marcel Priest, who arrived in Vinnytsia region on his first official visit. "I am very glad that between Ukraine and Romania, there is virtually no customs tariffs, and in the future we will more actively develop our relations. We want to be your doors to Europe and are ready to help you with our experience," said Marcel Priest. Among the promising areas of cooperation the representatives of the Romanian delegation emphasized the further development of town twinning between administrative and territorial units of regions, the establishment of flights between the airports in Vinnitsa and Iasi, the opening of a representative office in Vinnytsia region in the agro-industrial Park "Transglobal" in Iasi and the development of relations in the sphere of it technologies. In addition, foreign guests invited the Ukrainian side to consider the possibility of organising courses for development of entrepreneurship together with young people in Vinnytsia region and to exchange delegations of economic agents for detailed acquaintance with opportunities and prospects of regions. To confirm the effectiveness of such business visits the President of the Iasi chamber of Commerce and industry led the opening after the economic forum in Iasi mission of the company "Plasmatec", which gradually develops the market of Romania. More details to discuss all aspects of cooperation, the partners agreed during the next meeting, when the Romanian delegation will arrive in a much wider composition.
