Link "Mass media for Pro-European changes in Ukraine" Institute for economic research and policy consulting in cooperation with the "European truth" in the framework of the project "Promotion of reforms in the regions" 375 000 UAH The purpose of the contest The aim of the competition is the creation and development of regional media for coverage of issues related to relations between Ukraine and the European Union, the introduction of SA, other commitments of Ukraine to the EU to inform the society about the essence of European integration and European values and to promote reform in the regional dimension, for leading regional media financial ability for continuous illumination the European theme, promoting public discussion and raising public awareness on topics related to the EU at local, regional and interregional levels. It is expected that the project implementation will contribute to raising the awareness of media executives and leading journalists on the relationship between the EU and Ukraine in the reform process, supported by the EU. The competition priority is given to mass media, which operate outside the capital. Requirements to participants of competition To participate in the competition are invited to the media that: • officially registered in Ukraine; • have at least year, preferably three years experience; • have experience of publications on the subject of the proposed project; • have a constant audience of one or several regions of Ukraine (except Kyiv); • have the ability to implement grant projects and reporting (including financial reporting). The deadline for submission of applications is 30 September 2016. Link East Invest (Project "East Invest") Contractor: Consortium led by the Association of European chambers of Commerce and industry (of Eurochambres). Budget: 14 million euros. Target group: Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and organizations that support entrepreneurial activity. Activities for SMEs: seminars, trainings, trade fairs, model "business-to-business, educational visits, investors for SMEs, presentation tours "of Investors for SMEs." The event for organizations that support entrepreneurship: twining with European organizations that support entrepreneurial activity, audits, exchange programs, consulting services, training of trainers and Academy "Vostok invest". Duration: 2010 – 2017 Link Project Fund for SMEs (EBRD, KfW and EIB) By: the EBRD (European Bank for reconstruction and development, KFW (German state Bank "Loans for reconstruction"), the EIB (European Investment Bank). Budget: 15.3 million euros, 150 million euros of investment. Target group: SMEs. Duration: 2006 – 2018 Link TAREP (Strengthening auditing and reporting in Eastern partnership countries) Artist: the world Bank. Budget: 10 million euros. Target group: Enterprises, accounting and auditing organization. The project assumes development and implementation with the help of Ukrainian and foreign experts, the model of formation of local budgets with the participation of citizens Started 2016 "Partnership against impunity: financial and advocacy support for initiatives from Freedom House Freedom House this program is made possible through the support of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway. Freedom House will select up to four (4) advocacy initiatives on the amount of funding to 18 000 USD each Freedom House invites you to apply for funding and advocacy support organizations, campaigns and/or initiatives that aim to increase responsibility in the Ukrainian society, including government, local government, business and other fields. The competition aims to support initiatives that focus on the desire to prosecute for corruption, human rights violations or other illegal actions, and focus on the development and use of national approaches. In addition to financial, the winners will be given the necessary technical support to strengthen organizational capacity and potential of the project. Moreover, Freedom House to work closely with partners to support their advocacy activities, working side by side with anti-corruption platforms of civil society institutions and initiatives of international solidarity. Applications should be sent not later than 17:00 (Moscow time) on 14 September 2016.
