The Ambassador of Canada in Ukraine Roman Vashchuk got acquainted with the projects implemented in the region for funds from the Canadian government

Yesterday, on an official visit to the Vinnytsia oblast, the Ambassador of Canada in Ukraine Roman Vashchuk. While in the region, the diplomat visited the town of chmielnik and the village of Severynivka Zhmerinka district, because they have implemented projects implemented for the funds of the Canadian government. So, in chmielnik started the implementation of the international technical assistance project "Partnership for development" (PROMIS) is being implemented by the Federation of canadian municipalities with financial support from the Ministry of international Affairs of Canada. The project planned to develop strategy of development of tourism "Kurortopolis". Chmielnik, and other activities related to strengthening the ability of communities and development of small and medium-sized businesses. Also, in the course of the visit, the Ambassador discussed prospects of cooperation with businessmen of the city and got acquainted with the work and material-technical base of the sanatorium "radon". In the village of Severinovka, Zhmerinka district, the Ambassador got acquainted with the implementation of the project "Ukrainian way of self-government", which is co-financed by the Polish-canadian program for the development of democracy and the government of Canada. The diplomat held a meeting with activists of the community and participants of the project visited a medical clinic, a kindergarten and a village club.
