In the Volyn region a robber who attacked a 71-year-old woman will spend behind bars 9 years
Lutsk local Prosecutor's office supported the state prosecution in criminal proceedings on the robbery connected to penetration into housing, perfect 30-year-old native of the city of Kam’Kamianets-Podilskyi in Khmelnytskyi region. On the morning of 01 February 2016 4 times previously convicted for robbery, theft and perjury slacker through an unlocked door in the house on the street Gushansky in luck and attacked a 71-year-old woman. Holding a knife to the throat of the victim, the attacker demanded to give him all the valuables. Because nothing valuable in the apartment was not, he took the woman's hand a gold ring worth 1065 UAH. and ran away. In a short time thanks to the coordinated actions of law enforcement officers detained the robber. The stolen property was returned to the woman. Despite the fact that the attacker did not admit his guilt to the crime, Lutsk city district court found him guilty of a criminal offense under part 3 of article 187 of the Criminal code of Ukraine and appointed punishment in the form of 9 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
