Lutsk: the deputies got acquainted with the work of music schools of the city

Director of the musical school, Olga Churin told that the school this year celebrates its 77-th anniversary, but it was founded much earlier, during Poland, so its exact age is not known. There are qualified teachers studying gifted children that represent luck in the national and international music competitions and take prize places. The school held training courses, seminars, regional level. Every year the school has about 160 cultural and artistic events, including reports to the community in the city of Lutsk. The school has 20 creative collectives - choirs, vocal groups, orchestras. Olga Churin noted that a significant role is played by the support of local authorities, which provides funds for the repair companies. This year the city budget has been allocated 322. UAH for capital repair of the Assembly hall, but all the old building of the music school requires a major overhaul, since the room was built in 1939. Also, the budget allocates funds to pay for the education of privileged categories, 35% of pupils have the opportunity to study at the expense of the city. The Director of the music school expressed gratitude to the city Council for the fact that the school is well funded — teachers, workers receive a salary, no debt to pay for utilities. The Secretary of city Council Julia Bosenko congratulated the school staff on their professional holiday - Day of music and said that it is important that representatives of the profile parliamentary Committee. She also noted that the city power will do everything possible to support and assist cultural institutions of the city.
