The purpose of the meeting was the discussion of issues concerning state and prospects of agriculture and agribusiness in Vinnytsia region. "Vinnytsia region is a powerful region with great economic and investment potential. It is also a region in which favorable and transparent conditions for foreign business, we have been successfully working enterprises with the Polish, the Spanish capital, negotiations with representatives of the Japanese capital. Our area also became a venue for the revival of business, transferred from Eastern regions of Ukraine. the regional authorities and the city authorities pay great attention to the investors, constantly held international investment forums, meetings with representatives of the Diplomatic corps. Vinnytsia oblast is actively involved in various foreign forms, participates in various EU projects, starting from tourism and to projects for internally displaced persons. Therefore, the Vinnytsia region is a region which is always open to cooperation," in a speech reported by V. Merezhko. In turn, N. Neily informed the guests about the state of the agro-industrial complex in Vinnytsia region: "vinnichchina is primarily agricultural land, and 5 million tons of the crop have no one now no surprise. We are a leader among regions of Ukraine by amount of milk, animal products, grain, horticultural products and potatoes. We are ready to cooperate and very promising areas for cooperation are horticulture, vegetable and floriculture. I also want to inform you that our Embassy is organizing a trade mission to the regions. Was already conducted missions in Lviv and Kharkiv, and we are in search of new regions. Merezhko supported the proposal and offered to hold the event in the celebration of Europe Day in Ukraine when vinnichchina welcomed the many foreign delegations, representatives of Diplomatic corps, top officials of the country. Also, the meeting participants discussed the priority directions of development of agriculture of the Vinnitsa region and opportunities for Dutch business in the region; plans joint events with the participation of Dutch companies and representatives of agribusiness in Vinnytsia region, as well as measures to promote investment in the agricultural sector, improving the business climate and the tools which support and protect foreign investments and foreign business in Vinnytsia region.
