Vinnytsya region will judge the head of the state administration for corruption
the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region sent to the court indictment in criminal proceedings concerning the chief of one of regional public administrations of the region, which received undue benefit in the amount of 3200 UAH from the resident of the district for deciding on the dismissal of one of their employees and not reporting to law enforcement authorities about the embezzlement. The indictment is sent to court under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine, i.e. obtaining official unlawful benefit for Commission of such officer in the interests of a third party of any actions with use of official position committed by an official, which occupies a particularly responsible position. Reference: under part 3 of article 368 UK of Ukraine (receiving by the official of illegal benefit), there is a liability in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of n’five to ten years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years, with confiscation of property and with special confiscation.
