The official opening ceremony began with a minute of silence. Addressing the participants, Deputy mayor Andrej Kiska called on them to demonstrate their best gaming skills in order to have good results. “The main thing — learn to take a punch, and the winner in the future will become each of you,” he said. He also noted that the tournament dedicated to the memory of coach who trained many famous athletes, so let the memory of him lives on in the achievements and victories of the new football generation.
