In Vladimir-Volyn seized counterfeit goods worth 300 thousand UAH.
Vladimir-Volyn local Prosecutor's office together with employees of Department of protection of the economy in the Volyn region Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine in the framework of the Prosecutor's office initiated criminal proceedings on the manufacture, import to Ukraine with the purpose of use at sale of goods and sale of counterfeit excise tax stamps, and illegal manufacture, storage, transportation and marketing of excisable goods carried out of court-sanctioned searches of homes and ancillary premises belonging to two residents of Vladimir-Volyn. During the searches police seized more than 400 bottles of vodka with marks of excise tax, which are signs of tampering, over 10 thousand packs of tobacco products without excise tax stamps and excise stamps with signs of forgery, about 200 liters of liquid with a characteristic smell of alcohol. All seized excisable goods totaling more than 300 thousand UAH. Pre-judicial investigation proceeds. Law enforcement bodies of Volyn region, take measures for establishment and termination of other facts of criminal activities of persons involved in illicit trafficking of excisable goods in the region.
