On 01.10.2016 registered in the employment centers of the region were unemployed 9431. Among them: 51,1% women, 37.2 per cent of young people under the age of 35 years, 56.6 percent in rural areas; 39.1% of workers, 46.3 per cent of employees, 45% of persons who have additional guarantees regarding employment assistance; 48,4 higher education in Ternopil city employment center – of 80.3%.
