Department of health administration in conjunction with the state institution "Vinnytsia oblast laboratory center MOH Ukraine" carries out constant monitoring of the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. This year, starting in October, began a seasonal increase in the incidence of acute respiratory infections. During the 42nd week of the year on the incidence of these infections decreased 423,1 cases per 100 thousand us. in epidemiological threshold 562,3 cases per 100 thousand of us. The incidence in the whole region was 25.0% below the epidemiological threshold. In the whole region behind medical aid concerning SARS turned 6785, among patients 4557 (67,2%) children. Was hospitalized 258 people, including 228 children. On the same administrative territory of the region, prevalence does not exceed an epidemiological threshold. Deaths have been reported. The highest levels of morbidity in these infections was recorded on the territory of Vinnitsa, Kozaytyn, Kryzhopil, Litin and Peschanskaya areas. During September-October 2016, in the Virology laboratory of Vinnytsia regional laboratory center of the MOH of Ukraine by fluorescent microscopy were examined material from 17 people, received 4 positive for parainfluenza. Specific prevention (vaccination), today is a significant protective mechanism of protection against influenza and its complications. For carrying out specific prevention of influenza and SARS in the whole region selected 12801 face of risk. Vaccination of these persons has not begun because of lack of vaccines. As of 24.10 2016 in the regions of Ukraine, the vaccine is missing, in connection with the testing (quality assurance) at State expert center of the MOH of Ukraine. In Ukraine imported 150 thousand doses of vaccine. It is expected mainly influenza vaccine "Vaxigrip" (suspension of 0.25 ml.) manufacturer Sanofi Pasteur Sec.. France.
