The official also said that due to favorable weather conditions and introduction of modern technologies of cultivation resulted in considerable increase in yields of almost all crops. For example, in comparison with last year the yield of early grain group increased on average by 19.4 %, corn – 77.1%, sugar beet – by 34.3%, sunflower – by 15.6%. Nicholas Neily stressed that the livestock industry of the region also demonstrates a growth in production: "Nearly 2 percent narashino milk production (662,9 million tons), 3 percent – eggs (697,6 million units ), 5.6 percent increased sales of meat (334,6 thousand tons) ". He also noted the positive dynamics in attracting investments in the agricultural sector.
