In Zhytomyr checked the readiness of the authorities of civil protection for emergencies
the Department of civil protection of population of regional state administration this week conducted joint staff training. The purpose of the exercise was to test the readiness of management bodies and forces of civil protection of the region to act in case of threat of emergencies related to adverse weather conditions in autumn-winter period; the increase of stability of work of objects of life, economic activities; the refinement of the calculations for the application of forces and means at liquidation of possible emergency situations. Commission of the district state administrations, municipal Executive committees on issues tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergency situations worked questions regarding the activities for liquidation of the emergency situations connected with failures on life-support systems, in particular, violations of electricity, heat and water. In addition, coordinated actions of all services of civil defense to conduct activities and to minimize possible negative consequences of emergency situations associated with complication of weather conditions (heavy snowfall, low temperatures and ice), restoration of traffic, clearing roads. Training involved regional, district and city specialized civil protection service, management bodies of civil protection of cities and districts, heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations. Efficiency in solving the problems found by the regional service of civil protection departments of economic development, trade and international cooperation; urban planning, architecture, construction and housing and communal services; Department of health administration, EK "Zhytomyroblenergo", PJSC "Ukrtelecom".
