In the framework of the international project “Fast Ukraine” in Chernivtsi hospital will receive specialized car

Chernivtsi mayor Alex Kaspruk had a working meeting with the project coordinator of the Ukrainian Congress (UCC Ukraine Appeal) Mr John Holocom (John Holuk), which reported that eight ambulances from Canada was sent to Ukraine in the framework of the second phase of the project “Fast”. Two machines will be shipped next week. The project was started in 2015 in response to the dire humanitarian situation which has developed in Ukraine as a result of the Russian invasion. One ambulance 2011 release, along with special equipment will be transferred to the Chernivtsi city hospital No. 1. On behalf of Chernivtsi Alex Kaspruk thanked Congress of Ukrainians, partners and fans from across Canada, workers Chernivtsi city organization of red cross Society of Ukraine, which made the shipment of humanitarian aid to Ukraine is possible. In turn, John Goluch noted that with this support, complex logistics and the work of thousands of Ukrainians will be able to receive timely quality medical care and the project partners can be proud that their efforts will help save lives in a time when the Ukrainian people bravely defended their country against Russian invasion. The mayor praised the selfless work of volunteers and support of the project "Fast for Ukraine," the Ukrainian-canadian community and co-funded by the leadership of Saskatchewan – the sister city of Chernivtsi, transport costs for the delivery of humanitarian aid from Canada. The parties agreed to clarify the list of priority needs of Chernivtsi medical institutions, as well as further contacts and further fruitful cooperation for the benefit of communities.
