According to him , in 2015 the number of people was diseases of the endocrine system accounted for 16 % (in 2014 is 15.5%; in 2013 to 15.3 %) of the total number of the oblast population. All the participants of the press conference focused on the need for early detection of endocrine pathology that is a priority for all levels of medical care to reduce mortality and early disability retirement. And for this you need to constantly educate physicians, especially primary care. "Ukrainian endocrinology in no way inferior to the European, and the medical profession requires constant training, a collective approach to solving the problem. Doctors in Vinnytsia region have the opportunity to improve their professional skills," - said Professor Marina Vlasenko. "Constant attention to the problems of patients with diabetes reveals the Vinnytsia regional Rada, – assured the Chairman of regional Council Anatoly Oleinik. In the current year for the purchase of insulin was allocated 3 million UAH. Work on transparent procurement clearly established, so the drug is enough." Philip Prudius assured that endocrinologists in the regions also have sufficient. The two-day scientific-practical conference in the framework of the educational Project "School and back" aims to unite the efforts of doctors primary, secondary and tertiary levels in the fight against endocrine diseases and to present their knowledge on the problem on qualitatively new level. For reference: In Ukraine, the number of diabetics is about 1 million 300 thousand people. In 95% of cases is type II diabetes. The main problem of diabetes in our country is late diagnosis and low level of awareness of patients. Unfortunately, in many cases, the disease is diagnosed at that stage, when it formed a complex irreversible complications. The number of patients with diabetes, there are so-called "rule of halves": of all patients with diabetes, only 50% know that they have diabetes, treatment only get 50% with an established diagnosis, of which only 50% trying to reach the targets of treatment, and only 50% of them to land him. And, as a result of all patients with diabetes, only 6% of patients have the desired result of treatment. This was reported in the Vinnytsia regional state administration
