The monument to Heavenly hundred Heroes in Ternopil covered with copper to protect from weather conditions
Pam’monument to Heroes of Heavenly one hundred in Ternopil was solemnly opened and consecrated on the feast of the Pokrov - October 14. The current sculpture is a composition, which symbolizes a decorative swirl, which depicts the figure of a young innocent victims and the angel, a symbol of the glory of Heroes. “During the opening of the sculpture, the monument's monument was completed. In order to protect the amp’monument from the weather, to provide end designed aesthetically, it was decided to carry out the procedure cording with copper bases pam’monument, - says the chief architect Vasily Bisaga. The procedure had to be completed before the end of November, but due to weather conditions this time is transferred. We are convinced that we should not rush to execution of works, because of pam's monument should be improved qualitatively”. The procedure does not spent funds from the city budget, and the funding of its patrons. We will remind that the project of pam’monument to Heroes of Heavenly one hundred was elected during a special blitz-competition in early June 2015, after the first winner wrote a refusal to participate in the construction of the monument ' monument. The present sculpture is the work of the sculptor, Honored artist of Ukraine Roman Vilgushinsky and Honored architects of Ukraine Ivan Ravnica. The height of the composition is 9 m (without pedestal), and the figure itself – almost 3 m.
