Ternopil fighters brought from Mukachevo one gold and two bronze medals

Eighteenth international youthful tournament on Greco-Roman wrestling of memory of Michael Turner, who was held in Mukachevo, brought together athletes from five countries in the fight for the championship. Teams from Moldova, Transnistria, Romania and Hungary, as well as Ukrainian athletes from Kiev, Lugansk, Donetsk, Ternopil, Rivne and Lviv regions participated in the event. The competition was held in Mukachevo school. In General, two hundred young men of 2000-2001 year of birth in 13 weight categories from 32 to 100 kilograms competed for the title of best. A team of twenty judges, seven of them international category, determined the best of the best. Performed well at these competitions Ternopil pupils of DYUSSH on Greco-Roman wrestling Oleg Wild, Vitaly Gandzyuk and Vladimir Voitovich. So, Oleg Wild (pictured right) in the weight category 54 kg, won the gold medal and performed the standard candidate master of sports. Oleg - the student of Economic College of TSTU, is the regional shvsm. Bronze medals were won by the students of the Ternopil school # 26 Vitaly Gandzyuk (weight category 32 kg) - pictured left - and Vladimir Voitovich (weight category to 42 kg) is the representative of shvsm (pictured below).
