Yesterday at a meeting of the working group on the development Strategy of the city of Chernihiv by 2020, the Deputy mayor Oleksandr Lomako presented a draft of this paper. Work on its preparation began with the meeting of the working group and continued throughout the year. During this time held 2 strategy sessions and is a constant discussion, including on social networks among residents. "The uniqueness of this paper is that the development we have tried to involve the potential community of the city, to consider their opinions, comments and suggestions. Because city government is working for the community, and for this and created a strategy for its development. In addition, meetings were held with each division of the city Council, which has turned out its vision in its core areas. So, formulated a General concept of what we want to see our city" - said Oleksandr Lomako. He also noted that the previous document development Strategy of the city of Chernihiv for 2007-2015, was created by the experts invited for grantsin funds. But the public was much less tangential to the development of this document, so it does not become alive. Also after the adoption of the Strategy of development of the city until this document has not been enough attention, and therefore on its implementation now. But a new Strategy was formed differently. In the near future this document will be submitted to the Executive Committee, and then deputies of the city Council. Prior to the next session in the current year, the deputies will be actively discussed at the meetings of the standing committees. It is important that it is a living document that can be adjusted and take into account the most interesting and realistic opinions of the members of the city Council and residents. A further task of the Executive branch – to implement the city development Strategy in policy documents, which will be taken over the next 4 years. And even during the implementation of this document will be amended to reflect the priority issues that are put before us, - said Oleksandr Lomako. Because the world is developing quite quickly and maybe in a year and a half before us are new challenges and we will be in a completely different look on some things – solar panels, electric vehicles, trolleys and the like. well, in his opinion, the most important task for the city development is smart city, energy conservation measures, energy efficiency, implementation of effective management, electronic document, electronic service, etc. The Deputy mayor urged the public to actively consider the development Strategy of the city of Chernihiv in 2020. He also expressed hope that at the next session of city Council the Strategy will be approved, 2017 it will begin implementation.
