Chernivtsi: the list of types of public works for the next year
the Decision of the Executive Committee of the Chernivtsi city Council approved the list of public works that serve the interests of the territorial communities belonging to socially useful work and are organised with the participation of enterprises, organizations and institutions of Chernivtsi in 2017. With the participation of public employment service, public works will be organized at enterprises, institutions and organizations belonging to the municipal ownership and contracts in enterprises, institutions and organizations belonging to other forms of ownership, with the aim of providing additional social support and providing temporary employment for persons who are looking for work. Funding for public works will be at the expense of local budgets, employers and other not prohibited by the legislation sources. In particular types of public works include: landscaping, planting and landscaping of the city (state and municipal enterprises, institutions, organizations, social infrastructure, recreation and tourism), liquidation of dumps and beautification of roadsides, construction waste and clearing drainage ditches in the city of Chernivtsi; utility work associated with the repair of social facilities in the city of Chernivtsi; arranging the memorial places of burial, monuments and commemorative places that have official status or are registered on the territory of the city of Chernivtsi; works associated with the restoration and improvement of riparian strips, natural springs and water bodies, riverbeds; informing the population about the availability of subsidies under the simplified procedure, the technical processing of documents; care and assistance to elderly and disabled people, orphans; the restoration and care of natural reserves, monuments of architecture, history and culture; work in museums and restore the library collections in libraries, archives, documentation; the work associated with the census; accompanied by the visually impaired; assistance with paperwork, social support, work for the care of the elderly, with disabilities and other work-related social support or nursing care for people with HIV infection, cleaning of non-residential premises,in which the medico-social and psychological assistance.
