In Chernihiv held a festival of German culture named Hermann Pfeiffer
last week in Chernihiv held a traditional festival of German culture, which bears the name of the poet, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Herman Pfeifer of Memmingen. As you know, communication between Chernihiv and the city partner Memmingen in various industries have existed for 25 years. The beginning of the cultural relations established in the 90-ies, when for the first time Chernigov was presented to the spiritual performance of "Prodigal son," written by Herman Pfeifer. The program of the first festival day was prepared by the pupils of the school ¹ 1 in conjunction with the future teachers – students of Chernihiv national pedagogical University. T. G. Shevchenko. Student choir performed with creative room included works in German and Ukrainian languages. The festival ended with the German culture concert in the Philharmonic center of festivals and concert programs.
