In Rivne oblast terminated the activity of online gambling, seized more than 160 pieces of computer equipment
Bodies of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region together with employees of Department of protection of the economy in Dnipropetrovsk region, Department of protection of economy of the National police of Ukraine and the investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Rivne region defused a network of illegal gambling institutions, which worked contrary to the requirements of the law of Ukraine "About a gaming ban in Ukraine". The details of joint law enforcement operations and told the Deputy Prosecutor of the Rivne region Miroslav Patskan. - As a result 20.12.2016 searches in the territory of the city of Rivne and Rivne region found and seized a system unit 154, 224 monitors, 5 slot machines "one-Armed bandit", 50 flash-media, 5 video recorders, other office equipment, money allegedly obtained through criminal activity, and documentation, - the Prosecutor reported. Illegal activity of a gambling institution was carried out in non-residential, publicly accessible premises and under the guise of the Internet cafe, playing the lottery using gaming machines and computer technology has provided visitors with access services for gambling for the purpose of receiving winnings. On this fact the investigative Directorate of the National police in the Rivne region for the procedural management of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region is carried out pre-trial investigation under part 1 of article 203-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (illegal gambling business). At present investigative actions are carried out to establish the organizers of this illegal activity. - The Prosecutor's office of Rivne region does not stop at the work done in the future in cooperation with law enforcement will continue to take decisive measures to overcome gambling business on the territory of the region, summed up Miroslav Patskan.
