In Vinnytsia region the incidence of influenza and SARS last week was 7.3% above the epidemic threshold level

The incidence in the whole region was 7.3% above the epidemic threshold. In the whole region behind medical aid concerning SARS turned 14197 persons among patients 9225 (64,9%) children. Was hospitalized 898 people, including 699 children. The highest levels of morbidity in these infections were registered in the territory of the Vinnytsya and Ladyzhyn, Kozaytyn Mohyliv – Podilskyi, Nemyriv and Tyvriv district. In view of the high morbidity rate in separate administrative territories of the decisions of the regional and city commissions of TEB and an emergency was resolved the question of the suspension of the educational process in 11 districts of the region (Barsky, zhmeryns'kyi, Kozyatyn, Ternopil, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Nemyriv, tomashpolsky, Tulchin, Tyvriv, Khmelnitsky, Shargorodsky) and m. Vinnitsa, including 64 SOSH, 1 DOE and 3 College. During September-December 2016, in the Virology laboratory of se "Zaporozhye WLC MOH of Ukraine" received: 5 positive results to parainfluenza and 15 influenza A. Since the beginning of the epidemic season against flu and SARS were vaccinated 3814 people, including 826 children. From the total number vaccinated, 3237 persons from risk groups (in the whole region selected 12801 face risk). It should be noted that as of December 26, due to the high incidence of influenza and SARS, suspended the educational process in 105 secondary schools, 9 districts of Vinnytsia region.
