In Zhytomyr region the state will reimburse the cost of drugs in patients with asthma
One of the priorities in Ukraine is the treatment of patients with bronchial asthma. Among the immediate steps the government envisages the establishment of a clear mechanism to write out prescriptions using the international nonproprietary names (INN), establishing the system of payment to pharmacies, the implementation of the electronic registry of patients and the like. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution ¹863 "On the introduction of reimbursement of medicines". This regulation applies to medicinal products in the prescribed manner, registered in Ukraine, entered in the national list of essential medicines, approved by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 25 March 2009 No. 333 "on Some issues of state regulation of prices for medicines and products of medical appointment" (the Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2009, ¹ 27, article 906; 2016, No. 3, article 166), which cost shall be compensated during outpatient treatment of persons suffering from bronchial asthma, namely five drugs (INN): * Beclomethasone (Beclometasone) - aerosol for inhalation, * Budesonid (Budesonide) powder for inhalations dosed, * Budesonid (Budesonide) suspension for spraying * Salbutamol (Salbutamol) - aerosol for inhalation, * Salbutamol (Salbutamol) - inhalation solution. Prescriptions for the above drugs will be discharged only family physicians by place of medical care to patients who suffer from bronchial asthma prescription blanks of form ¹ 1 indicating the international nonproprietary name of the medicine, dosage and method of production. Reimbursement of cost of medicines will be carried out at the expense of targeted subventions from the state budget to local budgets.
