For all the duration of the government program on energy efficiency more than 19 thousand owners of private houses, abandoned gas and bought boilers on alternative fuels, involving 322 mingioni. The government in turn returned them 97,76 million. "Encouraging people to replace gas boilers was the first direction of the government program on energy efficiency and, thus, very effective. Since the start the program quickly gained popularity. Households their choice in favor of "non-gas" boiler supported by the state in the quest to reduce gas consumption", – said the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk and added that for its part, the state has provided such families a compensation of 20% of the loan amount borrowed in the boilers on local fuels. Sergey Savchuk also noted that on 28 December Gosenergoeffektivnosti carried out another compensation to those who have used the program to replace gas boilers. The amount of compensation amounted to 16.6 mingioni. So for 2016, the compensation paid to all households who raised the funds for the program for the purchase of "non-gas" boilers this year.
