"Only in 2016, the religious organizations of the region received and distributed among the most needy population of 478 tons of humanitarian cargo from countries such as USA, UK, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland, - stated the head of the Department of internal policy, religions and nationalities regional state administration Igor Kulchitsky. Also, according to the management information areas for needs of the Ukrainian troops to religious organizations ( and it is only those that we know of) collected 180 tons of cargo and 284 thousand hryvnias". We will remind, as of December 2016, the religious network of Ternopil region consists of 1825 religious organizations (including religious communities 1737) 24 confessions, trends and tendencies, which believers have registered the statutes of their religious community in accordance with legislation.
