Through the cyclone in the Zhytomyr region, all services are online

January 6, in connection with deterioration of weather conditions in a mode of a videoconference a meeting of the interagency operational headquarters of the State Commission on questions tekhnogenno-ecological safety and emergencies chaired by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services Gennady Zubko. The meeting was attended by Chairman of Zhytomyr regional state administration Igor Gundich, the management of DSNS in the field, members of the operational headquarters of the regional Commission. Gennady Zubko said that the main task of operational staff in the context of a sharp deterioration of weather conditions in Ukraine is security of people. "In such circumstances, the operational headquarters must work around the clock. The main thing – the safety of citizens, public order, work of transport, monitoring of fire situation, the provision of timely medical care. All services should work in service mode, assisting and preventing threats that may arise in emergency situations. Regional state administration must provide maximum coordination of all services, SES, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ministry Nacpac, Ukravtodor and other. This is the personal responsibility of heads of regions", – said Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine. During 4-6 Jan rescuers pulled from the snow drifts 140 cars, which were 190 people. The region has more than 3,500 points of heating, which provided assistance to over 20 thousand citizens. Rescue service has deployed more than 100 mobile points. Rescuers urge citizens not to travel by car on a long journey. If there is such a need to carry fuel, a thermos of hot tea, warm clothes and a fully charged mobile phone.
