The Program of development of tourism in Chernivtsi will direct nearly two million hryvnias
At the regular session of the city Council approved the Program of development of tourism in the city of Chernivtsi in 2017-2020 years. From the city budget for its implementation will be directed 1 million 975 thousand. In particular, the funds will be spent on promoting the tourism potential of Chernivtsi: the development and production of promotional and information materials about Chernivtsi; the acquisition, development and production of souvenir products of Chernivtsi; dissemination of information about the tourist potential of Chernivtsi through the media on the Internet and in advertising and information planes; participation in the international, national and regional specialized tourism fairs and forums; advertising campaigns and press tours, promotional tours; collaboration with national and international organizations with the mayors of neighboring cities and foreign cities-partners by conducting joint tours and signing cooperation agreements. Considerable attention will be paid to the development and improvement of tourist and recreational infrastructure, competitiveness of tourist products of the city. The deputies adopted the decision to allocate 200 thousand UAH for the construction of information boards for tourists. 70 thousand will be allocated for the development and promotion of tourism site of the city. Another 250 thousand will be allocated for the re-release of a book on Ukrainian embroidery.
