Vinnytsia region Prosecutor's office sent to court the indictment on charge of the inhabitant of the Cherkassk area with a crime under part 2 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine. Recall 17.11.2016 occurred serious road traffic accident at the tram stop outside the Cathedral in Vinnytsia. It is established that the driver of the truck "DAF" moving on Soborna in the city of Vinnytsia, while ignoring the requirements of a road sign 3.2 of the Rules of traffic (motorized traffic is prohibited), did not take measures to reduce the speed until the vehicle stops in front of the tram that stopped at the bus stop for landing-disembarkation of passengers and continuing the motion, made arrival on the pedestrian, which left the tram. As a result of collision young woman was killed. The accused is awaiting trial in custody. Advanced: part 2 of article 286 of the criminal code of Ukraine - violation of the rules of traffic safety or transport operation by the person which manages a vehicle, which resulted in the death of the victim, - shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term from three till eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years or without such deprivation.
