Pavlo Rozenko: we Have no obligations to what institutions to raise the retirement age in

the current Government and the current government will not take any steps to raise the retirement age. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko. "I want to tell you that we have no fixed commitments to raise the retirement age. This is not in the Memorandum with the IMF, or in our commitments to other organizations. And I want to tell you, I am convinced that the current Government and the current government will not take any steps to raise the retirement age," he said. "I just remind everyone, raising the retirement age for women is still going on gradually. And this is a consequence of the reform, which was conducted at the time of the Yanukovych-Azarov in 2011. And as you can see, raising the retirement age does not positively affect the budget deficit of the Pension Fund, it in comparison with 2011 increased significantly. If then he was about 40 billion hryvnias, that is more than 140 billion hryvnia subsidies budget of the Pension Fund. That is a result of raising the retirement age, the deficit of the Pension Fund have not decreased, but increased," – said Pavel Rozenko. According to him, this shows that the problem of the Pension Fund is not the issue of raising the retirement age, and low income. "Over 50% of employed citizens or do not pay taxes to the Pension Fund, or pay them not in full. And we need all of us to understand all the running that we pay our taxes is not the abstract state, which knows where to put them, we pay taxes from their salaries to their relatives and loved ones who are retired. And when is the state or the authorities questions of why we have such low pensions? The only answer to this question lies in the fact that the low pensions we have because we have not accepted in full and pay taxes honestly," believes the Vice Premier. This was reported in the Zhytomyr regional state administration
