Sergey Savchuk: Ukraine improving the system of "green" tariffs to the use of "green" electricity has been beneficial and affordable to every household in

the electricity Sector worldwide is rapidly evolving, however, according to the International renewable energy Agency (IRENA), nearly one-third of the world's population remains without access to it. A decision is urgent the development of renewable energy. In order to discuss the latest development trends in this sphere, January 15, IRENA has gathered officials and businessmen behind a round table on the theme: "encourage the use of Autonomous renewable energy: towards global access to energy and achieving sustainable development". Participation in the event was also attended by the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk, representing Ukraine and its achievements towards promoting production and consumption of electricity from renewable sources. He explained that the impetus for the development of this sector in the country was adopted in the year 2015, Law of Ukraine No. 514-VIII. He created a new best rules in the renewable energy market. "in Particular, this Law "green" rate pegged to the Euro until the year 2030. Installed "green" tariffs for electricity production from solar and wind installations of private households with capacity up to 30 kW. As soon as the Law came into force, the number of households who have installed solar panels immediately increased by 40.4%, and another quarter was 84.8%. Last year this growth in demand is preserved. In other words, hundreds of owners of private houses are switching to clean sources of energy, becoming less volatile", explained in Sec.Savchuk and added that it's all thanks to the best high rate at which households can sell the surplus produced electricity to the state. S. Savchuk said: "in General, Ukraine has about 6.5 million private households. Therefore, it is possible to speak about the possibility of creating a huge market for domestic consumption of solar panels". Sergey Savchuk also noted other introduced by the Law changes, canceled "local" component, increased the size of the "green" tariff for producers of electricity from biomass and biogas to 12.38 cents per 1 kWh, introduced a prize for the use of equipment of domestic production. In General, this law revived the market. After the reform of the "green" tariff rate input capacity of renewable electricity in 2016 began to recover. Thus, during 11 months of last year set 71 MW of new capacities of power generation facilities from renewable sources. Of these, 52 MW – capacity solar power plants. Quarterly 40-50% increase in the number of households that install solar panels and one wind farm has already received a 10% premium to the "green" rate for the use of Ukrainian equipment. During the event, the Chairman of the Agency also had the opportunity to discuss various legislative incentives for the use of electricity from clean sources with their foreign colleagues: Professor John Laheda from the Department of business development strategies, energy and industry in the UK and David Wortman from the Agency for cleaner technology and communications "eco DWR" Germany. In addition, yesterday, 14 January, the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk took part in the round table on the theme: "towards a economy based on renewable energies: innovations for the next phase of the transformation sector Elektroenergetiki", for which IRENA has gathered officials and businessmen to discuss the latest trends of renewable power generation. Summing up, the participants noted that the electricity sector worldwide is undergoing change. Almost a third of the world's electricity is produced from renewable sources. However, further capacity building in this area requires the introduction of new technological, financial and legislative decisions. This was reported in the Vinnytsia regional state administration
