16 January 2017 Management Ukrtransstroi in Zhytomyr region increased state control over carriers who operate in the sphere of automobile transportations on a taxi. The head of Department Yury Osipov notes that for the first few days only in the city of Zhytomyr checked 50 vehicles, is composed of 5 administrative reports and 3 acts of violations of legislation. "Mostly among the violations – the absence of state registration as a business entity and the lack of a license for the provision of services on transportation of passengers", – says Yuri Osipov. According to him, obtaining a license for taxi drivers is just one minimum wage, however, the main reason for the "unlicensed" transport – the reluctance of carriers to pay taxes.
