Yesterday, January 16, in the premises of the regional state administration held a General meeting of members of the Public Council, which announced the election of new members of an Advisory body at the regional state administration that will work to solve pressing issues in the region for 2017. The meeting participants summed up the activities in 2015-2016 and identified topical areas about their work in 2017. The work plan of the Public Council for 2015-2016 included 3 main activities, in particular regarding the areas of health, the national-Patriotic education of the younger generation of Ukrainians, as well as pedagogical direction. During 2016, with the active participation of the Public Council introduced and implemented a number of regional programs, including the regional target program of work with talented youth, a program of development of international and interregional cooperation, integrated law enforcement program, the regional programme of construction (purchase) of affordable housing in Vinnytsya region and many other not less important projects. Considerable attention was paid to the issues of protection of rights and legitimate interests of participants of the ATO, the recognition of the status and allocation of land. Also, the Public Council for the period of their powers, carried out systematic public monitoring of compliance with and performance of his powers, Vinnytsia regional state administration on implementation of the financial-logistic support of the healthcare institutions which belong to the sphere of its management. Concluding General meeting of members of the Public Council was determined the date of the constituent meeting of new structure – 2 March 2017. You can say that the Public Council under the regional state administration was established mechanism for considering public opinion in the formation and implementation of regional and state policy in General, and along with the Executive authorities, the joint solution of urgent problems of social development of the region.
