In the Rivne region the employment service is getting closer to the people With
the purpose of processing of proposals for legislation in the field of employment and modernisation of the employment service, expanding its functionality and areas of improvement of cooperation with employers and social partners on January 20, Goshchansky district employment center held a round table on the theme "employment in the context of changing legislation" with the participation of social partners and employers in the area. The meeting was attended by the Deputy head of Department Rostruda in Rivne oblast Natalia Karpuk, first Deputy Chairman Goshchansky district state administration Yury Yastremsky, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Valentin Bedrichuk, chief state inspector, Department Gastrula Sergei Mosiychuk, heads of regional institutions, employers. The meeting was opened by the Director of the regional employment center Peter zubcevic, who stressed that the current situation in the country and in the labour market calls for urgent reform of the public administration in the sphere of employment. Already introducing new forms of work, in particular, the use of vacancies from all possible sources; selection of applicants for vacant positions not only on the basis of registered unemployed, but also other resources, electronic CV database of job seekers; video resume and video presentations employers. Summing up the work in 2016, Peter, zubkavich on charts and graphs clearly demonstrated that through the introduction to the work of the employment center of anti-recessionary regulation in the labour market area there is a positive trend in the return to employment of job seekers increasing the employment rate and the number of vacancies. Peter, zubcevic also elaborated on some of the innovations in the draft amendments to the law on employment. Participants agreed with the view that there is a need for fundamental changes, which are possible only on the legislative framework. The employment service tries to be as close as possible to the people. This is the basic principle of the reform – access to decent work through the simplified procedure of providing services. Changes in the labour legislation and state supervision in the sphere of economic activity, which entered into force on 1 January 2017, said the Deputy head of Department Rostruda in Rivne oblast Natalia Karpuk. Also made by the representatives of the employers, in particular, the Chairman of the Union of entrepreneurs of the district of Victoria Eremeeva, who discussed the effect of the increase of the minimum wage on business activities, the likelihood of threats of layoffs. First Deputy Chairman of the district state administration Yury Yastremsky focused attention of participants of the round table on overcoming rural unemployment is quite a serious problem that can be solved only under condition of creation of new jobs. According to the results of the round table agreements were reached on further cooperation between authorities, employers and social partners to increase employment.
