It is necessary to avoid any contact of wild and poultry in households. Epizootic situation on ASF in Ukraine remains unfavorable. Was held a meeting of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission at the regional state administration, it was given the task to hold a meeting DNPC at the Chernivtsi city Council on the issue of preventing the spread of ASF in Ukraine and the implementation of measures to prevent the introduction of the causative agent of ASF in the territory of the city. African swine fever is a highly contagious infectious disease, the mortality rate from disease of pigs reaches 100 %. Treatment and vaccines today in the world are not developed. The causative agent of ASF is the virus is able to spread rapidly from country to country, from region to region, through the migratory paths of wild boars. In natural conditions the pathogen enters the body of the pig through the organs of digestion, respiration, traumatized skin and mucous membranes, and affects all the organs and tissues of animals. For control of epizootic situation for ASF in the territory of the city should: – to prohibit the sale in the wrong places (natural) trade; -enhance public awareness through the press, radio about the dangers of this disease; – to enforce the "closed mode" of farms in accordance with current veterinary and sanitary rules; -to prohibit the use of food waste for feeding pigs; – strengthen monitoring of household slaughter of pigs; – to strengthen control over the import and export from the territory of the city of live pigs and pork meat, feed and feed additives and premixes, as well as enterprises engaged in the processing of pork; -Ensure that the monitoring of pigs for ASF; -To ensure 100% investigation of corpses of pigs to ASF; -To analyze the status of work on agricultural markets and to take measures for elimination of deficiencies; -in the city to ban the circulation of live pigs, raw materials and finished food pork products from ASF areas without the presence of accompanying veterinary documents; – cleaning, washing and disinfection of vehicles before and after transport of pigs. To prohibit the importation of live pigs to the region from ASF areas without permission of the Chief of Department of Demirtzoglou in Chernivtsi region.
