Stepan Barna introduced the head of Demirtzoglou in Ternopil region
Main Department of Demirtzoglou in the Ternopil region was headed by Vasily Hominets. January 24, the newly appointed Manager presented the staff of the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barna. "By order of the Chairman of the State service of Ukraine on food safety and consumer protection dated 23 January 2017 the chief of Demirtzoglou in Ternopil region appointed Basil Chance. I wish Vasily Petrovich success in new positions, new ideas and opportunities for their implementation". Recall, the State service of Ukraine on safety of foodstuffs and consumer protection was formed in 2014 through the reorganization of the State veterinary and phyto-sanitary service and the State Inspectorate for protection of consumer rights and the State sanitary and epidemiological service. Main Department of Demirtzoglou in the field in accordance with its mandated tasks in the field of veterinary medicine and food safety: ensures the implementation of state veterinary and sanitary supervision (control) over health and animal welfare, safety and individual indicators of the quality of food and inedible products of animal origin, fodder and other objects sanitary measures, protection of the territory of Ukraine from entering of causative agents of especially dangerous diseases on the list of the International epizootic Bureau (hereinafter the OIE), from the territories of other countries or quarantine zones; carries out the state supervision (control): animals, food, other objects of sanitary measures associated with food of animal origin, reproductive material, and breeding work in animal breeding, biological products, pathological material, veterinary preparations, substances, feed additives, premixes and feeds, means of veterinary medicine, the care of animals and related objects, strains of microorganisms, as well as facilities used for their production, processing, storage and handling; activities of economic entities that are engaged in the manufacture, transportation, storage, sales of organic products (raw materials); conducting veterinary-sanitary examination at the facilities that are used for the production, processing, storage and circulation of animals, food products and agro-food markets; food safety in the production and/or trafficking for the purpose of export and import and issuing international veterinary (sanitary) certificate (for CIS countries - veterinary certificates in certain cases);the movements of animals, food, other objects of health protection related to foods of animal origin, reproductive material, biological products, pathological material, veterinary preparations, substances, feed additives, premixes and feeds, tools, veterinary medicine, care for animals and related objects, strains of microorganisms; organization of the collection, disposal and destruction of dead animals and animal waste; implementation of anti-epizootic measures legal and physical persons performing professional activities in the field of veterinary medicine;the observance of the legislation on identification and registration of animals; organizes protection of the population against diseases common for animals and people.
