The Prosecutor's office of Rivne region was carried out 60 requests for international cooperation
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region, provided the proper organization of work in the field of international cooperation and legal assistance in criminal proceedings. For that, the effective measures and performed the obligation of Ukraine before the international institutions in matters of extradition, legal assistance, investigation of criminal proceedings filed in the criminal prosecution to law enforcement authorities of the Rivne region. In particular, the Prosecutor's office is organized in 2016 60 requests for international cooperation in criminal proceedings. 50 of them were received from competent authorities of foreign States 10 – from the pre-trial investigation bodies of Ukraine. In addition, law enforcement agencies of foreign States for further prosecution received 7 criminal proceedings in which currently, the investigators of the Rovno area the pretrial investigation. At the same time, through the General Prosecutor's office to the foreign competent agencies, the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region sent 9 requests of law enforcement agencies on international legal assistance and proceedings. Requests are directed to the Republic of Bulgaria, Czech, Estonian Republics, people's Republic of China, the United Kingdom of great Britain and Northern Ireland. In extradition the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region sent to foreign countries 2. Prosecutors exercise 1 extradition verification with the purpose of extradition of the offender to bring him to the competent authorities of the Republic of Belarus to criminal liability. In the field of international legal cooperation is carried out the international search 9 the perpetrators of criminal offences in the region.
