Recently in “White castle” communal institution “Lutsk city center physical health “Sport for all” was held the chess tournament. Lovers of chess battles going, to beautiful, meaningful way to spend time in the element of competition. So, 50 participants (of different ages) from all over Volyn and Rivne region (Lutsk R-n, Gorokhovsky R-n, Staraya Vyzhevka, Novovolynsk, Lutsk, Rivne, Dubno) arrived to compete in an open chess tournament. Among the players were 14 young athletes of school age, 5 of them from the city of Rivne and Dubno. Pleasantly surprised results children: 4,5; 5,5 points out of 9 possible. According to the provisions of the open tournament consisted of 9 rounds of 10 minutes. + 5 sec. (Swiss system). The winners are: 1 place — Vasily Nedilko, international master of sports of Ukraine in chess (Lutsk area); 2nd place — Alexander novokreshchenov, candidate master of sports in chess (Kovel); 3rd place — Yaroslav Trots, And discharger, a student of the Rivne University (ipb). In the “White rook” was held another open chess championship. To participate allowed players not below the II sports category and members included in the sheet-rating of the region and have indicators not lower than 1850. Competitions were held in 9 rounds with time control is one hour + 5 mins on the game (according to the Swiss system). From Volhynia and from Dubno came a number of participants (31 players). They were all interested to confirm its rating and young players to carry the discharge. For three days there was an atmosphere of intense struggle. Especially reserved behaved students, because very much they would like wins. 9 students and 3 students of higher educational institutions worked on the result. And here's the final: 1st place – Yuriy Kovalenko (student of the Kiev University; 7 points out of 9 possible); 2nd place – Nicholas weaver (businessman from Lutsk R-nu; 6.5 points from 9); 3rd place – Bogdan Bondarchuk (student 2006 with M.
