Chernivtsi can be nominated for the contest "Charitable Ukraine"
the organizing Committee of the National contest "Charitable Ukraine" will accept applications from Chernivtsi nominees until February 15, 2017. The purpose of the contest: the development of effective social-oriented philanthropy, philanthropy and volunteerism in Ukraine through public incentives best of benefactors, patrons and volunteers, their organizations and practices. Criteria and procedure of evaluation of bids the nominees of the National contest "Charitable Ukraine" National Advisory Council defines winners at the national and regional levels of competition by adopting the results of the evaluation of bids received within the prescribed period, the relevant expert groups. The expert groups allow for the evaluation of bids in all categories: Nomination of the national competition Collective nomination for the title of "benefactor of the year": * Charity is big business. 2) the Charity average. 3) Charity small business. 4) Corporate philanthropy. 5) in the Collective volunteering. 6) the all-Ukrainian charity. 7) Regional charity. 8) Philanthropy in health care. 9) Philanthropy in education and science. 10) Philanthropy in the arts and culture. 11) Charity in the social sphere. 12) Charity in the protection of Ukraine. 13) Charity non-governmental sector. 14) Youth and children's charity. 15) Charity event. Individual nominations: * Civil charity. 2) patron of the year. 3) volunteer of the year. Special category: * A charity. 2) Charity in the media. 3) Innovations in philanthropy. 4) Help from abroad. The nomination of the regional stage of the competition Collective categories: 1) Charity medium-sized businesses. 2) Charity small business. 3) Corporate philanthropy. 4) Collective volunteering. 5) Regional charity. 6) Charity in health care. 7) Philanthropy in education and science. 8) Charity in the arts and culture. 9) Charity in the social sphere. 10) Charity in the protection of Ukraine. 11) Charity non-governmental sector. 12) Youth and children's charity. 13) Charity event of the year. Individual nominations: 1) the Civil charity. 2) patron of the year. 3) volunteer of the year. Special categories: 1) Charity in the media. 2) Help from abroad. Expert group formed by the Secretary of the National expert Council on the basis of kinship nominations, from among the members of the National Advisory Board and external experts with appropriate qualification and experience in the field of philanthropy. The business Council is an expert group on the assessment of these categories: Charity is big business; Charity medium business; Charity small business; Corporate philanthropy; Philanthropist of the year. Media Council is an expert group on the evaluation of the nomination " Charity in the media. External experts are working in expert groups provided them the right to vote. Secretary of the National expert Board may invite external experts to participate in the meeting of the National Advisory Council on approval of the results of the evaluation of bids. While the invited experts to participate in the voting on approval of the results of the evaluation are not taken. To avoid conflict of interest, members of the National Advisory Council and the external experts evaluate the bids, if they are direct or indirect representatives of the nominees of the competition or a representative of the organization (community) recipient. When evaluating bids, the members of the expert group are guided by the following criteria: • aid volume, including: volume of attracted resources; number of the organizations involved-partners, sponsors and volunteers; • public value (social weight) solution of a specific problem; • the magnitude of the charity – the number of persons and organizations that received assistance; • qualitative (fundamental, tangible changes that occurred as a result of the assistance; • sustainability of results obtained as a result of rendering of the charitable help; • involved innovative forms, methods and technologies, creativity of organizational decisions. Panel members provide individual assessments (ratings) of bids in each category in accordance with the grading form, approved by the organizing Committee. The arithmetic sum of rating places exhibited by each expert participating in the evaluation of bids under a separate category, determines the dominant place in the combined ranking (the lower the ranking score, the higher final place) in the national and regional formats. The consolidated result in the individual category is a rating of bids in national and regional formats. Based on expert group ratings of bids in each category the members of the National expert Council by a vote on each individual category determine the winner and laureates of the National contest "Charitable Ukraine". National Advisory Council for its collective decision may delegate the right to determine the winner of the regional stage of the National contest "Charitable Ukraine" in the regional supplementary nomination (introduced with the consent of the organizing Committee of the competition) the Competition Commission of the regional stage of the competition.
