Lutsk city Council and Executive Committee regret to report that on February 3, died Lutsk city mayor Mykola Romaniuk. Died a patriot of our land, a great professional, a decent and honest man. Received two higher educations on specialities "engineer" (Lviv forestry Institute, 1982) and "the economist" (Lutsk industrial Institute, 1995) he began his career in 1975 working in Lutsk furniture factory. After receiving higher education returned to the same company, where he worked as a foreman from 1982 to 1983. From 1983 to 1993 — on Komsomol and party work. From February 1993 to November 2007 he was head of the Volyn main regional administration of JSC CB "PrivatBank". By the decree of the President of Ukraine of 10 December 2007 No. 1199/2007 appointed Chairman of the Volyn regional state administration. Dismissed from this position on 26 March 2010. From April 2010 until November 2010 – the Director of the Volyn main regional administration of Public joint stock company CB "PrivatBank". In the elections of 31 October 2010 was elected mayor of luck. At the next elections, 18 Nov 2015 elected a second time mayor of the city of Lutsk. A non-partisan. The Deputy of Volyn regional Council of three convocations. Honored economist of Ukraine. Honorary diploma of the National Bank of Ukraine, Diplomas of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, order "For merits" of I, II,III degrees. A married father of two adult sons. It is an irreparable loss for our region.
