Chernivtsi: the Government of the Slovak Republic is committed to remain a reliable partner of Ukraine
Yesterday, 2 February, with the participation of Deputy mayor of Chernivtsi Vladimir Seredyuk a Protocol meeting was held of the area with the Consul General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod Mrs. Janka Buranovo in connection with the expiration of her tenure. She has repeatedly stressed that Slovakia supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine and decisions that contribute to establishing peace in the country. The diplomat strongly contributed to aid from Slovakia to the wounded Ukrainian military, in particular, in providing medical and rehabilitation humanitarian assistance since the Bromide. Janka Burianova said that the government of the Slovak Republic is committed to remain a reliable partner of Ukraine, Slovakia will make every effort to form a unified position among EU countries regarding the early introduction of a visa-free regime with Ukraine. During the meeting there were outlined the topical issues of further cooperation between the Bukovina and the Consulate General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod. On behalf of the Chernivtsi city Council Vladimir Seredyuk expressed to the Consul General of the Slovak Republic sincere gratitude for her many years of dedicated work for the benefit of our communities and handed a gift in memory of Chernivtsi.
