Chernivtsi, Oleksiy Kaspruk met with the international team of the project "Feel Ukraine"

Chernivtsi mayor Alex Kaspruk met with the international team of the project "Feel Ukraine" ("feel Ukraine"), organized by the international public organization AIESEC in Ukraine. A project that aims to reveal the image of Ukraine to the world, is being implemented in four cities of the country, it – Kharkov, Dnepr, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi. Global goal "Feel Ukraine" is the revival and popularization of the brand of Ukraine on the international level and among Ukrainian youth. In this project, attended by 9 trainees from 4 countries, such as Turkey, China, Mexico and Indonesia. Volunteers for six weeks will be to travel, to explore the traditions of Ukraine, to disseminate information about interesting features of the culture of their countries. Every week young people publish in social networks and on the project page for interesting articles, videos and photos about our country. During the conversation with Alexey Kaspruk trainees were eager to share vivid impressions of our city. Alan from China compared the building of the University with a fabulous Hogwarts (fictional school of magic from the universe of "Harry Potter"), sky loft premium Suite from Indonesia noted a well-preserved Austrian view of the Central part of the city, Namla (also from Indonesia) talked about that very worthy and touching wedding ceremonies and baptisms witnessed by the interns during a visit to the Cathedral of the Holy spirit. She also noted that parents and friends advised her to go to the country in whose territory the war broke out, and warned that the Ukrainians are reluctant to approach. In the first days of stay in Chernivtsi Name convinced that these warnings were greatly exaggerated – our countrymen were light and open. To advise the leadership of the city, guests from Turkey and Mexico delicately outlined the need to carefully remove ice trail from the sidewalks. The mayor expressed his gratitude for sincere words and impressions, took note of the comments, and finally added that the city is trying to preserve not only architecture, but also the generosity of the community. Chernivtsi – this is one of those towns who sincerely cherishes the Ukrainian culture, knows and appreciates the traditions, holds family values and is trying to become a tourist attraction of Ukraine.
