In Ternopil regional administration joined the project "Retraining and social adaptation of servicemen and members of their families"

a Memorandum of cooperation was signed by representatives of the Ternopil regional state administration, Ternopil national economic University and the international charitable Foundation from 10 February. The Memorandum envisages cooperation of the parties in the framework of the project "Ukraine – Norway - Retraining and social adaptation of servicemen and members of their families." "TNEU started cooperation in the framework of the project "Ukraine – Norway" in 2014. However, we are now beginning a new phase, because we are joined by one more party, the Ternopil regional state administration. Also we are opening the courses of retraining and improvement qualification on the specialty "Entrepreneurship" for the military retired, and their families. The project involves the training of a duration of 500 hours, as well as psychological adaptation, employment assistance and creation of own business. Military families need attention and support. We are excited to have the opportunity to join such an interesting project", - said the rector of the University, doctor of economic Sciences, Professor Andrey Kresowaty. Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yurii Yurik noted that the power region is ready to render comprehensive support for the project. "This is the format of the agreement between the Executive authority, the public sector and higher education. This project is very relevant, because in our region more than 5,000 demobilized soldiers. Many of them are now at a crossroads and finding your way. I hope this will help many to realize their dreams and aspirations. In addition, a very important aspect is psychological rehabilitation of servicemen. I am convinced that by joint efforts we will be able to realize all our plans and the project will yield real results: improve the welfare of families of servicemen and members of their families, social adapts to the conditions of the civil society with a market system of relations by organizing events in the psychological rehabilitation of participants of the project and will contribute to opening their own business and family business courses," - said Yuri Yurik. For 2015 retrained 984 servicemen and members of their families. Chernihiv national technological University has become the 16th institution of higher education of Ukraine, which joined the implementation of the project. The aim of the project is to reduce the impact of negative social consequences of economic reforms and reform of the defense sector of Ukraine to discharged servicemen participants ATO and members of their families and promoting cooperation between the two countries. Objectives of the project: • professional retraining of servicemen and members of their families in the civil specialties which are in demand on the labor market of Ukraine with the aim of increasing their professional competitiveness; • psychological rehabilitation of participants of the project with the aim of increasing their motivation to active social adaptation in a civil society with a market system of relations; • legal adaptation of military personnel and their families with the aim of improving social protection in the conditions of life in a civil society. • assistance in employment of project participants with the aim of improving the living conditions of military families; • assisting in the creation of their own (family) business in conditions of high unemployment in Ukraine, implementation of organizational abilities of the military and the formation of a class of law-abiding taxpayers; • development of cooperation between educational institutions of Ukraine and Norway, the beginning of new joint projects in education and research; development of business cooperation between enterprises of Ukraine and Norway with the participation of the Norwegian-Ukrainian chamber of Commerce. The basis of the project is the retraining of military personnel and their families in the civil specialties which are in demand in the labour market, assistance to project participants in the legal and social adaptation to the conditions of civil society. The project is funded by the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Norway with the participation of Ukrainian partners of the project. The project is the social.
