Officially began implementation of the projects submitted in the framework of the “Budget initiatives Chernivtsi (budget)”
Participatory budgeting as a method of improving communication and dialogue between the government and the society through involvement of citizens and distribution of a certain part of budgetary funds for implementation of their own projects, working in many cities of the world. Now and Chernivtsi are no exception. Last year, citizens decided on the projects-winners. The vote was attended by over 8 thousand people.
