More than 5 thousand of locals sought protection of their rights in the Prosecutor's office
Despite the narrowing of the scope of authority of the Prosecutor's office last year in bodies of Prosecutor's office of Volyn for the protection of their rights turned 5342 citizen. Resolved in the Prosecutor's office of area was 3689 cases, 56 of which – satisfaction. Prosecutors also decided 59 cases that came from people's deputies of Ukraine. Almost two thousand requests were sent for supplies in the Executive authorities, local governments, state supervision (control). The total number decided by the prosecutors, more than half were treatment on the issues of pre-trial investigation. They were mostly complaints about the decisions and actions of police investigators. For these 19 complaints canceled illegal decisions to close criminal proceedings. Significantly decreased the number of allowed and granted prosecutors appeals on questions of representation of interests of citizens and state in court. This reduction occurred in SV’'yazku with the ability to implement Executive powers in accordance with article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "About Prosecutor's office" a limited circle of persons, in particular in cases where the person is not able to defend violated or disputed rights or to realize procedural powers through failure to age, incapacity or limited legal capacity, and legal representatives or the relevant authorities do not carry out or improperly carry out its defense. But with the accession to 30 September 2016 the amendments to the Basic law, its Executive activities of the Prosecutor's office exercises only in the interests of the state in exceptional cases and in the procedure established by law. At SV’connection with the receipt of informed citizens and officials have taken steps representative character, in particular Kovalskoy and Vladimir-Volyn local prosecutors ' offices. So, Kovalskoy local prosecutors utilized the law of powers in SV’connection with the receipt of the application of the citizen, which the court as partially capable, for reason of improper performance of duties’ties her guardian. Before the court in July last year filed an application in the interests of the limited competence of resignation from her guardian duties ' of relations and to appoint another guardian. The court granted the application and the applicant's rights restored. The same Prosecutor's office by results of permission of addresses of pred's revealed two claims about collecting of the damage caused by illegal logging, for a total amount of 13 thousand UAH. as well as the claim to the citizen about the termination of the land lease agreement and the return of the state land area of 1 hectares worth UAH 2 million. Now claims are in the courts. To protect the rights of children applied measures of representative character of Vladimir-Volyn local Prosecutor's office, which before it's revealed to the statement of claim in interests of an orphaned child about the recognition of her ownership of the inherited property and land share, the share of area of 2.67 hectares with a value of more than 110 thousand UAH. A claim the court is satisfied in full. In addition, in SV’connection with the receipt of reasonable requests, within the framework of criminal proceedings proven facts of non-payment of scholarships to students of vocational educational institutions. This contributed to the repayment of scholarships and future timely payment. Special attention in the Prosecutor's office of Volyn is paid to the personal reception of citizens. For 2016 personally made 949 cases. The Prosecutor of the region made 158 citizens, Deputy Prosecutor of the region – 217. Provided also personal reception at the place of work and residence of citizens.
