Rivne oblast: fined the Chairman of village Council on Duenshine for an administrative offence related to corruption
Dubensky local Prosecutor's office of Rivne region participated in the review of the Protocol on administrative offence of corruption against the Chairman of one of village councils of Dubno district. It is established that the Chairman of the village Council adopted and signed a number of decrees on the awarding of a close relative that works in the same rural Parliament. The official has not taken stipulated by the Law of Ukraine "On prevention of corruption" measures to notify the local authority about the real presence of conflict of interest. The resolution of the Dubno district court Chairman of the village Council was found guilty under part 1 and part 2 of article 172-7 of the Cao (violation of the requirements for the prevention and settlement of conflict of interests) and imposed an administrative penalty of a fine in the amount of 3400 UAH. Reference: The entities subject to the Law of Ukraine "On prevention of corruption", are obliged according to article 28 of this Law to take measures to prevent real, potential conflict of interests, to report not later than the next working day from when the person knew or should have known about the presence of her real or potential conflict of interest, immediate supervisor, not to take actions and not to make decisions in real conflicts of interest, to take measures to resolve actual or potential conflict of interest.
